Manchester United edged Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford in an EPL match marked by two red cards, an outcome that could extend Ruben Amorim’s tenure as manager of the Red Devils.
The game’s turning point occurred early, in the fifth minute, when Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was shown a red card following a reckless challenge, reducing the Blues to ten men.
Manchester United broke the deadlock, taking advantage of their numerical superiority, in the 14th minute. Patrick Dorgu’s precise pass found captain Bruno Fernandes, who confidently converted the chance.
