‎The project aims to establish structured housing for farmers which includes infrastructure for agricultural production, processing, and market access.

‎Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, Minister of State for Finance, stated that the project will transform agriculture into a more profitable and attractive venture for the youth;

By anchoring farmers in stable communities with access to basic infrastructure, this project will enhance productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, improve security and encourage youth participation in agriculture

‎Niger State Governor Umaru Bago, during the meeting, emphasized the agenda of the state to depopulate Abuja within the next 10 years. This aim to reduce the population density of the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) by incentivizing the relocation of residents to Niger State.
