Nigerian Air Force launches airstrike on terrorist in Borno State

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted a precision airstrike today Saturday,  targeting an insurgent in Timbuktu Triangle, Borno State. The operation, carried out by Operation HADIN KAI was targeted at dismantling the logistics and command structures of terrorists.

‎Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, confirmed that the strikes successfully neutralized several terrorists who were regrouping at the site.

‎After the airstrikes by the Nigerian Air Force, ground troops subsequently moved into the area to validate the destruction of the targets and to eliminate the fleeing terrorists.

‎Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, stated that the military henceforth will dominate the air domain and deny terrorists sanctuary until their networks are completely dismantled.

We will continue to deny terrorists freedom of movement, sanctuary, and logistics wherever they seek to hide. The Nigerian Air Force will sustain pressure until terrorist networks are completely dismantled – Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, Chief of the Air Staff
