Former Niger Delta militant leader and monarch Asari Dokubo, on Tuesday, during a visit by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
The endorsement took place during Nyesom Wike’s State-wide tour.
Dokubo, the Amanyanabo of Torusarama-Piri, stated that his support is his personal debt of gratitude, to President Tinubu who stood by him during his most difficult period.

Dokubo recounted his relationship with Tinubu which dated back to 1992, stressing that the President’s past personal support to him, is the primary driver for his current political backing.
