A Nigerian cleric, Prophet Onu Emeka, has ignited debate across social media after claiming he successfully prayed for a car without an engine to move to a mechanic’s workshop.
In a video currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the prophet narrated the encounter as a demonstration of divine power. He challenged critics to bring any vehicle, remove its engine, for a practical demonstration of his spiritual powers.

Defending his claim, Onu argued that tangible miracles are necessary to convince people to embrace the Christian faith.
He questioned whether preaching the gospel would be sufficient to win souls without practical displays of supernatural intervention.
“I have prayed for a car, a car without an engine, and the car moved to a mechanic. If you think I’m lying now, let me use one of your cars; anybody that brings a car as an example. Let them remove the engine and see if that car will not move.”
