Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and former Anambra Governor Peter Obi met at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, in Abuja, today Saturday, to celebrate the 60th birthday of Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Atiku Abubakar confirmed his attendance via social media, sharing images of his interactions between the leaders;

With the 2027 general elections on the horizon, seeing Atiku and Obi alongside their former mentor, Obasanjo, has fueled speculation regarding the formation of a unified opposition coalition to challenge the incumbent administration.
The meeting is the first public appearance of Peter Obi alongside Atiku Abubakar since Obi’s recent defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
