The Nigerian Army successfully rescued six kidnapped individuals on Monday during a security operation in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Troops from Sector 1 of Operation FANSAN YAMMA conducted a clearance mission across several local government areas, including Chikun, Kajuru, Kachia, and Kagarko.
The troops during their operation engaged a group of armed bandits with fire, which forced them to retreat into the forest, leaving the six captives behind without any casualty reported.
The rescued individuals have been handed over to the Kajuru Emirate Council and local government representatives for reunification with their families.
