Nearly three years after a tragic helicopter crash claimed the lives of her parents and brother, Tochi Wigwe, the eldest surviving daughter of late Access Bank founder Herbert Wigwe, has married Lagos-based investment executive Wilson Aikhomu.

Videos from the traditional wedding ceremony, which circulated on Thursday, November 5, showed the 28-year-old bride dancing joyfully in traditional attire alongside guests.

The bride, who serves as a director of the Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe (HOW) Foundation, married Wilson, the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Zoya Admiralty, the son of the late Rear Admiral Joseph Omozuwa Aikhomu, and a nephew to the late Admiral Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu. He was also a close friend of Tochi’s late brother, Chizi.

The celebration comes in the wake of a devastating helicopter crash in California on February 9, 2024. The tragic incident claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and their son Chizi, leaving a deep void in the family and the Nigerian business community.
