Tinubu Is just a businessman, not a president, says Odumeje

‎Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, known as Odumeje, has publicly accused President Bola Tinubu of running Nigeria like a business rather than serving as a true national leader. He delivered the remarks in a viral video shared on October 1, 2025.

‎In the video, Odumeje described President Tinubu as falling short of fulfilling the role of a genuine president, unlike leaders such as Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Ibrahim Traoré, and Xi Jinping, whom he mentioned as examples of committed nation-builders.

‎The cleric condemned Nigeria’s political elites for prioritizing personal wealth accumulation over the country’s development.

‎Odumeje in his words said “Nigeria is a giant of failure, not a Giant of Africa,” blaming the leadership for economic hardships and corruption.
‎He stated that while Tinubu’s family and close associates thrive financially, ordinary Nigerians continue to suffer.

‎This is not the first time Odumeje openly criticized Tinubu’s administration. In March 2023, he called it the “worst” government Nigeria has ever had, and recently, he expressed disappointment at Nigerians’ perceived docility in the face of mounting difficulties.
