President Bola Tinubu has assured automatic employment for the four children of the late Mrs. Grace Adayilo, the first female Head of Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This was announced by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, during Adayilo’s funeral service at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.

Wike explained that the president approved this provision in recognition of the family’s loss of its primary provider. He further shared that one of Adayilo’s daughters is currently serving her youth service in Port Harcourt, assuring that the local community there will fully support her.

Wike remembered the late technocrat as humble and loyal, noting there was no hint of illness during their meeting the day before her death. Though Wike did not know her personally, he recalled her appointment as part of the first batch of permanent secretaries under President Tinubu.

This gesture by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, restates his unfailing commitment to supporting families of distinguished public servants by honoring their legacies.
