The Zephyrgold Aid Foundation, a charitable arm of Zephyrgold International Limited, inaugurated its first community support campaign on Tuesday at Junior Secondary School, Kado-Kuchi, Abuja, providing essential learning resources and settling school charges for 100 students.

During the event, Mrs. Maltilda Akure, the foundation’s Administrative Manager, explained that this outreach is part of the organization’s initiatives to uplift communities. The program aims to ease financial burdens for families within the Federal Capital Territory by covering tuition payments and distributing educational materials.

The foundation, operating as the humanitarian division of Zephyrgold International Limited, which has over two decades of corporate history, sees this project as a step toward enhancing access to quality education. Mrs. Akure emphasized the importance of investing in youth development and fostering academic progress through this campaign.

Local residents and school officials expressed appreciation for the support, noting how such efforts help motivate students and alleviate some challenges linked with schooling costs.

The school principal said that contributions like these create an encouraging environment for students and  also help reduce the strain on parents. With the success of this initial outreach, Zephyrgold Aid Foundation plans to expand its program to support more young learners across the FCT in the coming months.
