A popular content creator and brand influencer Anda Damisa, known online as Lazywrita, on Monday December 29, announced his own passing.

‎The announcement came through a pre-scheduled post on his Instagram account. In the message, Damisa revealed that he had battled mental health struggles and no longer had the energy to continue. He described himself in the post as now being “Happy, Unburdened, and FREEEEEE!!!”

‎Lazywrita’s final post contains a series of recent photos and an emotional letter to his friends, family, and a former partner.

‎He asked his loved ones not to cry or shoulder any blame for his decision.
‎He mentioned regrets like missing new episodes of Stranger Things, alongside more personal ones regarding a past relationship.

‎He confirmed that he had deleted his other social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to ensure his final message was the only narrative left behind.

‎I lived a full and adventurous life… I would choose you all to be my family over and over again

‎Many fans expressed shock, stating they were unaware of the severity of the noise he was fighting beneath his creative exterior. Thousands have shared how his poetry and humorous content helped them through their own dark times.

‎Anda Damisa was a multifaceted creative who made an impact on the Nigerian literary and digital space.

‎Known for lifestyle content and relatable storytelling, he released a collection of poems titled A Lazy Poet in 2019, which explored themes of pain, life, and perception.

‎Few months ago, he had occasionally opened up about the heavy emotional toll of the year, though he often framed it as a journey toward finding his spark again.
