Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has surfaced on social media for the first time since her public marital conflict with husband Ned Nwoko, appearing on a private jet with a noticeable absence of her wedding ring. The accompanying video showed the actress in high spirits, chanting, “Morale, high!”.
The public move comes amid severe allegations from both sides, including claims of domestic violence and substance abuse.
The public feud between the Nollywood star and the politician/businessman has drawn massive attention across Nigeria and the Nigerian diaspora. The dispute became public following a series of accusations.
Daniels and her family accused Nwoko of violence and also sent armed individuals to assault her. In response, Nwoko alleged that Daniels’ erratic behavior and violence stemmed from her difficulty managing drug and alcohol use.
Daniels’ latest public appearance, the absence of the wedding ring, is being interpreted as a non-verbal commentary on the status of the relationship, suggesting a symbolic detachment from their marriage.
