A powerful explosion shook the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) factory in the Kakiri Industrial area of Kaduna State on Saturday morning, leaving multiple people injured and at least one confirmed dead.
The blast occurred around 10 a.m., reverberating through communities across Kaduna South and neighboring Chikun local government areas. Although the exact cause remains unclear, eyewitnesses described a loud detonation that caused panic among people residing close to the site.
