Minsister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reinstating democratic order in Rivers State by lifting the State of Emergency. Wike described the President’s actions as a vital step toward peace and stability.
In a statement delivered by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike expressed that President Tinubu has once again shown dedication to maintaining peace and strengthening democratic values across Nigeria.
The Minister urged all parties involved in Rivers State’s governance to unite and work collaboratively for the welfare and advancement of the state. He also warned those who attempt to exploit the situation for personal gain, particularly agents of discord, to refrain from destabilizing the state further.
