Nigerian superstar Davido Adeleke has withdrawn from 50 Cent’s Legacy tour concert set for July 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, citing unresolved issues impacting his performance’s quality and integrity.
In a statement shared on his Instagram stories on the 15th of June 2025, Davido clarified that his decision was not due to poor ticket sales but stemmed from a commitment to his craft, fans, and cultural representation. He emphasized, “Africa must be respected,” noting that key elements required for his performance’s standards were not met despite his team’s efforts.
Davido expressed regret to fans who purchased tickets, acknowledging their strong support and the event’s impressive ticket sales. He stressed that the concert, part of 50 Cent’s Legacy tour featuring Mary J. Blige, will proceed without him due to these unresolved execution issues.
The “Unavailable” hitmaker reassured fans that his other summer shows in Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Canada, and the US remain unaffected. Promising a soon return to London, Davido affirmed, “5ive is still alive!”
