President Bola Tinubu has disclosed that God has granted him the requisite wisdom and resilience to continue leading Nigeria. He made this declaration shortly after observing prayers at the holy mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Speaking with journalists in the Saudi capital, the President described his access to the Ka’aba as a fulfilling and historical moment. He explained that his primary prayer was for the Almighty to convert Nigeria’s vast religious and ethnic diversity into national prosperity.
“I feel fulfilled and grateful to Almighty Allah for giving us the opportunity and the health. The day went very well…There is no other God but him. He is the giver and the taker. He owns the power. He said, use it well. If you don’t use it in accordance with my dictates, I can take it from you and give it to another person.” President Tinubu stated.
He recalled making similar supplications before the 2023 general elections, stating that he had returned to the holy land to fulfill a promise of thanksgiving to God for answering his prayers.

President Tinubu urged Nigerians to stay calm amid current economic challenges, assuring citizens that the difficulties would soon be a thing of the past. He stated that the administration’s economic reforms have already secured a solid foundation for growth.
“The economy has come out of the dark tunnel. It is inspiring. We need to build the future for our youths. If we don’t invest for their future, in 50 years from now, how do we want to be remembered as leaders? I am not looking for anything else.”
President Tinubu thanked the King and the Crown Prince for their hospitality and the rare honour of entering the Ka’aba.
He also shared a symbolic detail observed during his visit, stating, “I can’t believe that the colour of the Ka’aba was green-white-green.”
The President admonished all citizens to serve Allah, follow their consciences, and remain steadfast on the right path that will lead Nigeria to greatness.
