Nigerian social media influencer and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has expressed grief over the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan.

In a tribute on Sunday, she stated that she may never fully recover from the shock of losing her child.

The influencer took to her Instagram page to reflect on the painful loss, sharing memories and expressing regret over the timing of his passing. She revealed that she had already purchased an iPad and a bicycle as gifts for the nine-year-old before his sudden demise.

“I will keep living in denial, I miss you, bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle. You would have waited for mummy to come back”.

Blessing CEO, described Bryan as her guardian angel, stressing that his kindness, confidence, and intelligence left a lasting impression on her life.

In the tribute, she added that she would preserve his memory wherever life takes her.

“Selfless, kind, outspoken, bold and very intelligent. This is how I will forever remember you. I know you are in Heaven, but I promise to carry your memories everywhere I go. Rest on my guardian angel, Bryan. Sleep well my Dum Dum, mummy loves and miss you. Everywhere is so cold and quiet”.

The tribute comes just days after the influencer spoke publicly about her son’s death following her release from detention.

During a recent interview, she disclosed that Bryan had previously dreamt about his own death and shared the premonition with his brother, Darell, her sister, Precious, and his grandfather.

She explained that she only learned while in custody that her son, who relied on two inhalers, passed away at a hospital around 6:30 am on a Monday. Returning home from detention, the influencer admitted that the tragedy completely overshadowed her release.

“I didn’t come out to the best of news. I didn’t come out excited because I lost something I couldn’t get back”, she said.

Blessing CEO was granted bail in late October after spending months in custody over separate alleged fraud cases. The legal proceedings remain ongoing.
