19-year-old kills colleague at Gombe Government house

Shuaibu Adamu, a 19-year-old watchman, was apprehended on Friday night for killing his colleague Malam Umar, known as “Baba Usama” at the Gombe State government house.

‎The victim, who served as a borehole operator, was found motionless with signs of a staged scene to mislead investigators. The victim was then rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead and his remains currently deposited for autopsy.

‎The Gombe Police Command Investigators quickly analyze the CCTV footage, stationed at the premises, which revealed the suspect, Shuaibu Adamu, assaulting the victim before fleeing the premises. After this revelation, the suspect was tracked to a hideout in Bagadaza Quarters and was arrested.

‎The police have assured the public that they are working to determine the full motive behind the homicide to ensure appropriate prosecution.
