A Kaduna-based Online Mathematics Teacher Felix Dominic has called on parents to move with global trend of mastering calculation via online for their children and wards.
The Mathematics expert in an interview with newsmen underscored the importance of complementing conventional class learning alongside the on-line option which he stressed would go a long way in grooming learners to command and master the rudiments of the subject, not just to pass exams but to utilize it for national growth and development.
Dominic stressed the imperative of learning calculation which he pointed out would make young learners to understand other science-based subjects better and widen their horizon to accommodate a range of other branches of education.
“Our contemporary world has now gone digital in virtually every aspect of live, including learning, particularly that of mathematics which is a fulcrum on which other problem-solving matters are anchored on.
“We have to move with the trend in order not to be left behind in the race for socioeconomic growth built on innovative ideas, capable of leading to independent reasoning required for creativity and value-added advantages.
“For our young learners, particularly those in junior secondary school who need a solid foundation at this stage to pursue future career in science-related or calculation-based fields must be tutored particularly online to enable them overcome the fear and challenges associated with learning mathematics,”he emphasized.
Dominic, who currently runs a free online mathematics tutorials known as FEUNIX DISTINCTIONS, for both junior and senior secondary school learners urged parents to leverage on the opportunity by registering their children.
