The Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has commended President Bola Tinubu for prioritising key infrastructure projects designed to strengthen transportation, trade, and economic development across the North.
The governor delivered the commendation on Wednesday while representing the President at the commissioning of Section III of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway.
Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Yusuf stated that road networks remain essential for connecting local communities and facilitating the seamless movement of goods and services. He stressed that investments in critical infrastructure will accelerate economic growth and improve the business environment in the region.
“At this juncture, I have to commend President Bola Tinubu for prioritising major infrastructure projects to strengthen transportation, trade and other economic activities for the development of the North,” Governor Yusuf stated.
The governor urged the Federal Government and state administrations to maintain close collaboration to address the infrastructure deficit of the nation.
