Former President Buhari dies in UK Hospital
Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has passed away in a hospital in the United Kingdom.
The confirmation came on Sunday afternoon from his former spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, who revealed that the former leader died earlier that day.
“Shehu confirmed the death but noted that further details about the circumstances remain unavailable for now,” said a source close to the family.
Buhari, who served as president from 2015 to 2023, had been receiving medical attention abroad prior to his demise.
