Former Vice President Namadi Sambo was officially turbaned as the Sardaunan Zazzau on Saturday, October 11, 2025, a traditional title recognizing his service and integrity. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warmly congratulated Sambo on this prestigious honour.
The investiture ceremony took place at Zazzau, where Emir Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli conferred the historic title of Sardaunan Zazzau on Namadi Sambo. This title carries great significance, symbolizing trust, honour, and a commitment to the community and nation.
President Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, commended the Emirate for continuing the noble tradition of awarding titles to outstanding citizens. The President emphasized that Sambo’s turbaning shows the confidence of the Emirate in his wisdom, integrity, and dedication to national progress.
