NASC unveils plan to revamp Nigeria’s seed sector for 2025-2029

The National Agricultural Seed Council (NASC) has revealed a roadmap aimed at transforming the seed industry in Nigeria for the next five years. The scheme is meant to enhance seed quality, accessibility, and innovation to boost agricultural productivity nationwide.

The new framework encompasses a series of programs designed to modernize seed production and distribution. This campaign involves close cooperation with government bodies, private sector stakeholders, and research institutions to ensure sustainable progress.
