Terrorists Attack: 4 Community Security Corps,  Commander Slaughtered In Katsina

The Commander of the state’s Community Security Watch Corps and 4 of his men were ambushed on their way to Maharba village on Saturday.

The Commander of the security corps Sanusi known for coordinating the security teams operations in Kusada and other parts of Charanchi Local Government Areas got a distress call about bandits approaching Matazu Local Government Area as a source said, “Bandits numbering about 20, on motorcycles, ambushed them at a major stream,”. This attack came after the incident that occurred in Gobirawa community in Dutsinma Local Government Area, that left 19 residents murdered and possessions destroyed.

The governor in a statement gave his condolences and showed sympathy, as he also gave his prayers for the victims of the incident as he said, “On behalf of the government and the good people of Katsina, Governor Radda expressed condolences to the families of the deceased C-Watch personnel, praying that God Almighty will grant the families and the state the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” The governor also sent a delegation in a statement signed by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to Maharba village to conduct an assessment which involved the Commissioner of Police, Dr Nasiru Muazu Danmusa, the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, and other security personnel. They will address the recent attacks that have been brought upon by the terrorists.
