The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has directed candidates who participated in its oral interviews to check its online portal from October 28 to confirm their employment status, which will remain accessible to applicants until November 13.
The CDCFIB oversees joint recruitment operations for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
The Secretary to the Board, Retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jibrin, announced the update after a board meeting on Thursday.
He stated that successful candidates will receive a unique code to present at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in their respective states for a compulsory drug screening.
“The portal will open 28th October up to 13th November for people to check their status and then take a code and proceed to their respective state where the NDLEA office is and present themselves for a mandatory drug test”.
He added that candidates who pass the medical evaluation will converge in Abuja with their NDLEA clearance certificates to collect their official letters of appointment.
