Zamfara First Lady condoles family, council of chiefs, over the death of Gusau emir

The Zamfara State Governor’s Wife, Hajiya Huriyya Lawal has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences over the death of emir of Gusau, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Bello, OFR, (Sarkin Katsinan Gusau).

This was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor’s wife on Media and Press Secretary, Hajiyya Rabi Yusuf and made available to newsmen in Gusau on Friday.

Described the demise of the revered monarch as not only a personal loss to his family but also a monumental loss to the Gusau Emirate, the people of Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.

According to her, the late Emir was a father figure and a distinguished traditional ruler whose reign was characterized by dignity, wisdom and an unwavering commitment to peace and development.
