SGF Akume marries ex-Ooni wife, welcomes her to Dajoh clan

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, has officially brought his wife, Queen Zaynab Ngohemba, into his ancestral home in Mbakor, Benue State.

Queen Zaynab, formerly Olori Wuraola, is a renowned humanitarian and former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. Her 17-month royal marriage in the Ife Kingdom ended in 2017.

The announcement was made on Friday, December 26, through a social media post by the Dajoh family, who described the marriage as a beautiful and uncommon union.

‎While the couple appeared together at a Christmas Eve event in Gboko, Akume’s spokesperson, Yomi Odunuga, clarified that the SGF and Queen Zaynab have been married for over a year.

‎The Queen was ushered into the home with high cultural reverence, which symbolizes her official integration into the Tiv culture and the Dajoh family lineage.
