The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named former Minister of Finance, Senator Nenadi Usman, as Kaduna State Coalition Chairman, to unify opposition forces in the state against the ruling APC.
At a press conference on Monday, October 27, ADC National Vice Chairman, Ja’afaru Sani, announced the appointments of Senator Nenadi Usman as Chairman and former Kaduna State Commissioner for Finance, Bashir Sa’idu, as Co-Chairman of the Kaduna State coalition.
The party outlined its agenda to reorganize the ADC and mobilize citizens to challenge the current APC regime which they described as tyrannical.
Sani said the coalition will serve as a rallying point for opposition activities in Kaduna, aiming to foster a disciplined leadership and greater political inclusion statewide and nationwide.
Sani accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to weaken opposition unity through infiltration efforts. He claimed;
some mercenary politicians have sponsored willing tools to initiate court cases against coalition leaders, including Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and myself – Sani
In response, the coalition resolved to expel and blacklist members involved in undermining its leadership through these legal actions.
