An official Toyota Land Cruiser disappeared from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Headquarters in Abuja on July 28, 2025.
The missing vehicle, a Toyota Buffalo Land Cruiser registered under number NPF 5594 D and chassis number JTELU71JX0B027126, belonged to the Department of Operations at Louis Edet House, the central command building of the NPF in Abuja. It was reported stolen after being taken from the designated official parking area within the premises.
Information about the incident was communicated through a statement issued by the Commissioner of Police, Department of Firearms and Ammunition (DFA), Katsina Command, based on details from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID). Authorities have confirmed the case is being thoroughly investigated.
In response, police units nationwide, including area commands and divisional officers, have been instructed to maintain vigilance and assist in recovering the missing vehicle.
The Force leadership has urged all personnel to treat this matter with utmost urgency and report any useful information.
