There was a fire outrage in the College for Qur’anic Science and Islamic Studies, founded in Rafin Albasa, Bauchi State which destroyed multi-storey buildings and lots of office facilities.
The school was founded by Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Director General of Education at the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation, Sayyadi Aliyu Sise Dahiru gave utmost divine gratitude to Allah as no lives were lost and students weren’t injured, “We thank the Almighty Allah that the incident happened after school hours in the evening,”
The fire outbreak destroyed valuable academic materials written by Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Late Dr. Hadi Sheikh Dahiru, Late Ahmad Sheikh Dahiru, and other Islamic scholars, 250 mattresses, 60 bags of rice, 15 cartons of seasonings, 43 mats, 150 rubber kettles, 1,583 pieces of students’ clothing, and other materials.
He showed gratitude to the State Fire Service, for their quick input and ability to handle the inferno in a short amount of time, “We also thank the men of the State Fire Service, who spent over three hours before they were able to put out the fire.”
