The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, Jarret Tenebe, has publicly threatened “AK-47 fire” against anyone trying to stop the party from delivering 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Tenebe made the threat during a recent grassroots campaign rally that was captured in a video, which has now gone viral on social media, warning political opponents that they will call down “Holy Ghost fire” and a “General Purpose Machine Gun” if they hinder the party from achieving it target.

“So anybody who refuses, who wants to stand in our way of not getting the 2.5 million votes we want to give to Mr President, AK-47 fire”, Tenebe.
Tenebe, while defending the 2.5 million vote target, revealed that the number of votes a state gives to the Federal Government influences its political rewards. He claimed that delivering such massive numbers could persuade the central government to create new local government areas or even new states in the region.
He also pushed back against social media critics and opposition parties who doubted the target, revealing that Governor Okpebholo recently mobilised over 2.1 million votes for the APC during the last local government elections.
