A 22-year-old hairstylist from Enugu, Nigeria, Miss Odama Mary Agado, has died by suicide after discovering her boyfriend with another woman.
According to reports, Mary, originally from Cross River State, ingested a poisonous substance believed to be a sniper following the distressing incident.
Mary had been successful in her business and recently bought a car and rented an apartment for her boyfriend. A family source said she became upset after discovering the man with another woman in the apartment she had provided. She then informed her mother about the situation before reportedly taking the poison.Doctors attempted to save Mary, but she was pronounced dead later that day.
Her family buried her quickly due to her young age and declined to involve the police, stating it was a clear case of suicide.
The family till this moment questioned the reasons behind her decision, suggesting possible spiritual manipulation made her claim her life.
