The New Nigerian Development Company (NNDC) has praised Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for his reform efforts, describing them as “critical” and impactful. During a courtesy visit to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, NNDC Chairman Alhaji Lamis Dikko reaffirmed the company’s commitment to restoring its founding mission, inspired by leaders like Sir Ahmadu Bello.

Dikko announced plans for a sweeping restructuring of the NNDC, pledging to “provide competent leadership,” enforce oversight, and uphold strong corporate governance. “Integrity, transparency and service excellence will define the new NNDC,” he stated, vowing to hold all levels of leadership accountable.
He also highlighted NNDC’s intention to drive regional development, promising measurable results and collaboration with stakeholders. Notably, he commended the state’s Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone project, calling it a “bold and transformative” step toward food security and employment generation.
The Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, also called for leveraging NNDC’s expertise to revive Kaduna’s dormant textile sector, emphasizing strategic collaboration for economic revitalization.
