Popular Nigerian Singer and Influencer Portable has claimed he earned N70 million from his boxing match against controversial singer and entertainer Speed Darlington.
The match surged through most social media platforms after Portable knocked out his opponent, he explained how he won the victory stating, “Them first give me N30M make I accept say I go fight. Them come say, if I win, N20M, that’s 50. Na him uncle Burna, after I fight I beat am [Speed Darlington] I even wound am, send 20 million. I use him make N70 million around 3 days”. The match began when Portable rejected an offer of N500,000 from Speed Darlington to perform at his concert, stating his standard performance fee of N20 million.
Another popular Nigerian Artiste Burna Boy known to have a rift with Speed Darlington, gave a portable N20 million naira prize for knocking him out. Along with the N30 million offer to portable as an appearance fee to accept the boxing challenge and N20 million naira for the winner, which brought the total earnings to N70 million naira.
