Atiku promises affordable living, urges Nigerians to collect PVCs

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has condemned the rising cost of living and insecurity in Nigeria, promising to reverse the trend and restore economic stability if elected president.

In a statement shared on his official X account on Wednesday, the former Vice President addressed the economic hardship and growing security concerns facing Nigerians. He blamed President Bola Tinubu’s administration for making life expensive and urged eligible citizens to secure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the next general election.

Atiku stated that while young workers struggle to meet basic needs despite their earnings, pensioners are forced to make difficult choices between buying food and purchasing life-saving medications. He also expressed concern over the persistent threat of kidnappings and attacks, stating that families continue to live in fear for the safety of their loved ones.

“If you are a registered voter, please go and collect your PVC. Hold on to it. It is your voice, your choice and your peaceful power to demand change. Bola made life expensive. I will work to make life affordable again and restore the security every Nigerian deserves”, Atiku.

The former Vice President also called for unity, advising Nigerians to support his vision where every family can live with dignity, safety, and hope.
