APC internal polls show Tinubu will win 2027 election – Yilwatda

The All Progressives Congress (APC), through its National Chairman, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election based on data gathered from the party’s internal polling.

The National Chairman of the party, Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed this during an appearance on Channels Television, where he said that the ruling party remains unbothered by opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Party (ADC) and Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

Yilwatda  claimed that the current economic hardship is temporary, and that the President has put in place tax reforms designed to expand the revenue net of the government.

The national chairman denied claims that the ruling party is protecting its members from anti-graft agencies, stressing that several APC members are currently facing prosecution without government interference.

The chairman also lauded the support of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, and his Rainbow Coalition ahead of 2027 elections.
