Dunamis Church empowers 100 Nigerians with free farmland, monthly stipends

Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr. Becky Enenche, has equipped 100 people with practical agribusiness training, free farmland, and financial support to help them build sustainable livelihoods.

The founders of Dunamis International Gospel Centre shared the news on Sunday during the church’s Thanksgiving and Testimony Service in Abuja.

This empowerment is the first phase of the Entrepreneurship Agribusiness Training Programme of the Church. The Enenches and the church fully sponsored the project to boost self-reliance and economic independence among citizens.

The 100 beneficiaries, who make up Batch A of the program, recently completed their education at the C.S.S. Farm and Skills Acquisition Centre along the Keffi-Abuja Road. Dr. Enenche revealed that it cost about N500,000 to train each participant.

However, the church is going beyond just handing out certificates by giving the graduates the actual resources they need to start planting immediately.

“Each of them will have at least one hectare of farmland to start farming,” Dr. Enenche.

He also explained that the new farmers will not be left to struggle while waiting for their crops to mature but will be supported with monthly stipends until the time their produce is ready for harvest.
