A Nigerian woman, Hajiya Aisha Isah Yelwa, was applauded for returning ₦330 million that was mistakenly deposited into her First Bank account.
Mrs. Yelwa, a resident of Lapai in Niger State, reported the discrepancy to her bank and government authorities immediately upon discovery, in order to ensure that the full amount was restored.
Mrs. Yelwa fully cooperated with the government without requesting any financial reward or public recognition.
