Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh shared a shocking testimony of her deliverance from years of substance abuse, addiction, and severe emotional struggles during a Sunday service at the Streams of Joy International Church, led by Pastor Jerry Eze. The actress shared the experience as a profound spiritual turning point in her life.
Tonto Dikeh is one of Nigeria’s most recognized actresses, known for her candidness on social media regarding her personal struggles and professional life. Her testimony was delivered during the church’s New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations service.
Dikeh revealed that she started smoking at the age of 13 and maintained the habit for approximately 27 years. She also disclosed struggling with alcohol addiction, masturbation, and what she called “demonic anger” that previously damaged her relationships and personal life.

She emphasized that she almost withdrew from sharing the testimony due to concerns about her public image but chose to proceed, stating;
The devil tried to tell me that I was supposed to protect my image. But I told myself, what image? The God that gave me the image is the same God that can take it away. I am 40 years old, and I can tell you I have never known peace until now. I am living in it – Tonto Dike
She urge parents to shield their children from harmful habits, stressing that her own smoking started from exposure at home.
