The United States based marketing firm handling the sale of the Presidential Boeing 737-700 Business Jet of Nigeria, has withdrawn the aircraft’s listing from its international sales platform, leaving the status of the sale uncertain.

JetHQ confirmed the removal of the listing but directed all inquiries to the Nigerian government, which has yet to provide an official explanation for the withdrawal of the aircraft intended for sale.

The Boeing 737-700 Business Jet (BBJ), purchased in 2005 for $43 million, was part of the Presidential Air Fleet of NIgeria. The Tinubu administration listed the jet for sale in July 2025 as part of a fleet rationalization and cost-cutting strategy, amid heightened public scrutiny over the high maintenance costs of the aging aircraft.

The jet, which had a pre-owned average market value of approximately $56 million, remained unsold for nearly four months before being delisted.
