Recognized for her exceptional proficiency in English, sharp critical thinking, and articulate expression, Nafisa emerged as the top contender among participants from 69 countries. The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, personally presented the reward during a formal event celebrating her remarkable accomplishment.

Earlier, the Atiku Abubakar Foundation demonstrated its support by awarding fully-funded scholarships to Nafisa, along with fellow champions Rukaiya Fema and Khadija Kalli.

In correspondence dated August 5, 2025, and signed by Prof. Ahmadu Shehu, Acting Secretary of the Atiku Abubakar Foundation, the Foundation expressed admiration for the students’ “remarkable success” at the TeenEagle competition, which brought global recognition to Nigeria’s youth.

Stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector look forward to more investments in youth development. The government and philanthropic organizations alike are determined to continue nurturing talents who can represent the country on worldwide stages.
