Manchester United’s CEO Omar Berrada believes the club can win the Premier League by 2028, outlining a three-year plan to restore the team’s dominance following a challenging season.

Berrada, speaking at a press conference on Monday, expressed confidence in manager Erik ten Hag and the squad’s potential. He highlighted ongoing investments in infrastructure, including a £50 million Carrington training ground upgrade, to support the club’s ambitions. The CEO emphasized a data-driven recruitment strategy to strengthen the team.

United’s 13th-place finish last season, their worst in the Premier League era, prompted significant changes, including Berrada’s appointment from rivals Manchester City. He acknowledged fan frustration but pointed to recent signings like Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee as steps toward rebuilding. The club also plans to enhance Old Trafford’s facilities to boost revenue.

Berrada stressed the importance of patience, noting that consistent top-four finishes are crucial before challenging for the title. He praised Ten Hag’s focus on youth development and tactical discipline, expressing optimism that United will compete with top clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal by 2028.
