Banditry: Zamfara Govt. urges FG to recruit more security personnel

The Zamfara Govt. has attributed the escalation of insecurity to the manpower inadequacy of security personnel among others, call on Federal Government to as matter of agency recruit more security personnel to effectively handle banditry in the state.

In a statement by the Press Secretary Office of the Deputy Governor, Shehu Adamu and made available to journalists in Gusau on Tuesday.

According to the statement the Acting Governor Malam Mani Mummunii made the disclosure while condoling with the people of Banga,Kungurki and Kuryar Madaro Wards of Kaura Namoda Local Government area,over the recent attacks and killings by bandits in the areas.

Mummuni Maintained that Nigeria has the population of over two hundred million people,yet the whole security personnel to protect lives and properties of the citizens were not up to five hundred thousand, hence the need to employ
